Pics I liked online this week.
X-ray pinup girls
June 17, 2010Eizo, a Japanese company that sells monitors and medical imaging screens, made this fantastic x-ray pinup calendar. I can’t believe nobody’s done this before. Having the model wear skyscraper heels was a nice touch, I think.

Terry Border’s Funny Photos
May 22, 2010Terry Border takes funny photos of little things.
Here’s my favourite pair:
Why is Rosemary crushed?
Well, unfortunately, in her particular lovestory….
Really?
May 19, 2010I’ve been saving cartons for the past few months- I have a craft idea in mind. Today I rinsed out this beauty and then took a closer look at it.
Before we go any further, look at that flower arrangement in the background. Pretty, right? I invented that to class-up the vacant downstairs apartment in the house I live in; we’re looking for some new tenants and I’m hoping to find someone elegantly refined enough to appreciate my taste in floral arrangements. Or someone who doesn’t fart too loud, either would be fine.
Ok, back to the carton. Let’s look a little closer, shall we?
Really? Is that what it tastes like?
Homo?
Seriously?
I think all copywriters must secretly be 11 year old boys.
Collars for Cats
October 1, 2009In which I found a scrap of fabric, and, feeling crafty, decided to take the word “collar” entirely too literally:

Juno from Human Resources congratulates herself for a sexual harassment sensitivity training session well-done. Time for a margarita.
Juno seemed to like the collar so I left it on her for a while, but 20 minutes later she appeared without it. Upon investigation I discovered she’d scratched it off in the litter box and then peed on it. Can’t say I blame her: sometimes the rat race can get you down.
